Were you injured during campus recreation? Would you like for someone to provide appropriate medical health care? The Office of Campus Recreation is proud to offer its participants access to Certified Athletic Trainers.
Injury Evaluation and Rehabilitation
To make an appointment, call the Athletic Training Room to speak to a Certified Athletic Trainer regarding the care of your injury. Please schedule appointments 24 hours in advance; however, walk-ins are available during office hours.

What is an Athletic Trainer?
Athletic training is practiced by athletic trainers (ATC), health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities.

Palmetto Health USC Orthopedic Center, the official orthopedic provider for the University of South Carolina athletics, also furnishes campus recreation with a certified athletic trainer to provide medical coverage for campus recreation programs and events.
