Abandoned Bike Project Receives National Honors

The University of South Carolina was named a Bike Friendly University. Based on efforts by the Outdoor Recreation office, including the Abandoned Bike Project, Sustainable Carolina, Outdoor Recreation, Healthy Carolina, Law Enforcement and Safety, USC Vehicle Management and Parking Services, the university was named a Bike Friendly University at the bronze level by the League of American Bicyclists. The university is the first school in South Carolina and the Southeast Conference  to be receive the award.
