- The Outdoor Recreation Challenge Course will be closed for programming April 29 – August 19. During this time, a facility will be constructed, that will be used in conjunction with challenge course programming offered to the USC community. The new facility will house program equipment, multiple restrooms, a water fountain, and an open air pavilion. Programming will start back the first week in September.

- To introduce and expose individuals to the environment through outdoor recreation activities
- To empower individuals to move beyond self-imposed limitations

- To educate students about the environment and sustainability
- To think critically, identify risks and make sound decisions
- To explore and attain new skills that will merge academic and recreational experiences
- To provide meaningful experiences outside of the classroom
