  • The Outdoor Recreation Challenge Course will be closed for programming April 29 – August 19. During this time, a facility will be constructed, that will be used in conjunction with challenge course programming offered to the USC community. The new facility will house program equipment, multiple restrooms, a water fountain, and an open air pavilion. Programming will start back the first week in September.

  • To introduce and expose individuals to the environment through outdoor recreation activities
  • To empower individuals to move beyond self-imposed limitations
  • To develop effective team building and leadership skills
  • To educate students about the environment and sustainability
  • To think critically, identify risks and make sound decisions
  • To explore and attain new skills that will merge academic and recreational experiences
  • To provide meaningful experiences outside of the classroom
